Community Guidelines
Our commitment to inclusion
At Mattr, our goal is to cultivate a safer, more inclusive space that grows and adapts with our community’s needs.
Inclusive Environment
Mattr is designed to be a welcoming place for everyone to explore more meaningful connections. We interact with each other here through curiosity, openness, and respect—embracing our differences. We all deserve to feel valued and understood. As we seek that for ourselves, we offer the same respect to others.
Active consent
Consent, both online and offline, is central to interactions on Mattr. It means a clear, voluntary "yes," given without pressure or manipulation, and never when someone is unable to make an informed choice. Consent is something you can change or withdraw at any time, ensuring all exchanges are respectful and mutual.
Privacy Mattrs
Sharing personal information or intimate details is a choice, and everyone has control over when, how, and with whom they share. Privacy empowers us to be ourselves as we build genuine, honest connections.
Authenticity
We believe in being true to who we are. Misrepresentation, including fake profiles or impersonation, isn’t tolerated here. Everyone brings as much of themselves as they wish, and this honesty helps foster deeper, more meaningful connections.
Safety first
If you ever feel uncomfortable or unsafe, please let us know. Whether you experience or witness harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behaviour, you can report it to us. Your report will remain anonymous, and we will take action—either issuing warnings or removing those who violate our guidelines. Together, we can create a safer, more supportive community.
Adapting together
As our community evolves, so will our safety measures. If you experience an issue or need to report misconduct, reach out to us at help@mattr.social. Your input on our safety practices is always welcome at contact@mattr.social.
